Sept. 30
th We had some friends Marcel and Danny and their two kids Julia and Gerome from Switzerland come
visit for a few days. We took them up the canyon to Mueller park and then went to my brother Aaron and his wife
Fiauna's house for some
American football and a BBQ. We all had a great time and enjoyed watching the kids communicate and play together while not speaking the same language. Marcel and Danny speak
English but Julia and Gerome could not.

This is a picture of
Fiauna that
Kynlee helped me take!
Kynlee playing with a baby float even though we were not playing in any water!

This is a picture of some of the neighbor kids, Jason, Aaron and Brighton being tackled.
Kayci and Jessa playing up the canyon in the river.

We packed a picnic and enjoyed lunch up the canyon with all of the beautiful leaves changing colors. Gerome tried peanut butter for the first time!! Julia did not want to try it! It is so fun to be around people with different cultures, even a simple picnic is so different with strange foods for them. Julia,
Kynlee, Jessa, Gerome and
Kayci
Jessa and
Kayci were teaching them some American hand games and sayings, then they tried to teach Jessa and
Kayci some of theirs!

Wow, you did an update overload. That is awesome. I enjoy looking at the pics and reading what you guys have been up to.
That's so cute, kids can still have fun with other kids even with a language barrier.
Cute pictures. Peanut butter? Who would have thought that they don't have this great stuff everywhere?
