Cute Girls!!

Dec. 7 - Kayci, Kynlee and Jessa.

Setting up the Christmas Tree

Dec. 6, we finally got around to setting up the Christmas tree. It is always fun to see the kids get excited about all of the ornaments that they have picked out in the years past! Fun time of year! Just a little automatic family photo, never know how those are going to turn out!! (hurry! run! smile!) Jason, me, Kayci, Jessa, and Kynlee

Now for the last touch, the star!! This is Kayci, but wait -- everyone wants to put the star on top so we do it three times!! This year they started to argue over who gets to put it on last, what to do next year?!

Jessa's turn!!

And Kynlee!! At least Jason gets a good arm workout!!

Gingerbread Houses

The first weekend in December my parents bake and put together gingerbread houses for all of the grand kids. Then depending on the weather we all go and decorate!! One of the funnest traditions for my kids, they look forward to it every year! Thanks Mom and Dad, we hope to one day carry this tradition on for our grand kids!! Jessa waiting for the icing and all of the candy!!
Kayci - sometimes we wonder if more goes on the house or in her mouth!!

Kynlee - she was very excited to get her own house, last year she was too little and decorated gingerbread cookies!

Here are a few of the grand kids waiting for the "goods" to get started on their masterpieces!

Kynlee worked so hard and did not like getting icing on her fingers, she would make my sister wipe her hand every time she got it on her!! So fun to watch their personalities come out on their houses!

Kayci hard at work!

Jessa - busted! We wonder why they are not hungry for dinner later that night! Hmmmmm??

The Scenic way home!

So we decided to take the scenic route home from St. George, it was fun but was a long drive home. Here are a few of the fun places we stopped for some pictures. Nov. 3 - This was an old bridge that had been washed out, we think maybe when they had all of that flooding in southern Utah. We took a road that went in between Zions and Kolob, it then came out in Cedar City.
This was a cool looking tree that had most of the bank washed out, crazy what a "little" rain can do!

This is Jessa swinging on a rope under the bridge!

Kayci finally decided that it looked fun and gave it a try!

This is the back side of Zions!

More of Zions.

When we were driving home we saw what we thought were pretend birds on the rocks but they ended up being real! There were a ton of Vultures just flying around and hanging out on this cliff by the road. I think they were waiting for us to get lost and stranded! (Dinner)

Jessa-can anyone say "CHEESE"

Jason and Kynlee, the girl thinks she can swim and doesn't think she needs anyone to help her.

Jessa and Kayci - They could stay in there all day!!

Hiking in St. George

Nov. 2, 2008-- We went to St. George for Koby's Baptism and did some playing while we were there! This is a little hike that we went on in Snow Canyon with some of the cousins. Zoie, Kayci, Jessa, Calen, Korbin and Chessie!

I think they all ran past the sign with out even a glance to see what it said!!

Kayci and Jessa, going up was a lot easier than coming down!

Halloween fun!

We had a wonderful Halloween and enjoyed the nice trick or treating weather! The kids did not even have to wear a jacket!! Sure was nicer than some other years when they were wearing snow clothes! We went around the neighborhood with some friends and some neighbors tried to scare the kids! Jessa and Kayci liked the masks so they tried to scare some of the parents!!
Kynlee and her friend Lincoln got some treats and figured that was good enough so they were just in for the ride and a treat of two!

My two little witches and a fairy!!
